Sketchnotes from iMAL, Digital Preservation conference

We have old computers, a million old drives, repositories, CD-ROMS , NAS storage RAIDS full of data… What else would it require? I went to the workshop and symposium hoping to find solutions to conserving our small BIG data problems. Basically when it comes to digital archives there are no easy answers and I will be processing the many conversations and lectures over the coming days and weeks. A book, on paper, somehow is still a tantilizing idea for preserving the ideas and context of our work. I still have hope to create the Auriea & Michaël Digital Art Museum however.

An archive of the workshop and presentation videos are to be found on the TRACKS website, here.
